Howden's Great North Run fundraiser

Staff from Howdens Joinery have raised an incredible £7,576.55 for the garden project by running their socks off in the Great North run.

"This gives the Making Beechwood Blossom project a tremendous boost, and we couldn't have wished for a better New Year's gift", said Gemma McCorkindale, Volunteer Co-ordinator at Beechwood.

"We're so grateful to all those who took and part, and everyone who sponsored them. You can be assured that we'll put every penny to good use in creating a wonderful garden for residents".
